The Posture Positive Work

A phone rings. Pick it up and answer. Look through the documents. Turn around to talk to your workmates… we can find a variety of activities in the office every day. Each activity keeps requiring a slight shift of our weight. Our head moves in each activity and our body twists and tilts the body little by little. Then, we start the next movement without correcting the distorted posture. The issue we have in our posture here is that we stay distorted and slouched. This is because we lose track of how to go back to the neutral position during the process. These continuous distortions and slouching cause imbalance and lead to exhaustion and pain as the ongoing strains at work keep piling up. The distortion in posture follows every activity of ours. The most important thing to remember is always to start and finish an action from the neutral position, rather than trying too hard to fix and hold onto an unstable position. Both keeping the posture and performing activities occur at the same time. The stress from posturing can decrease your work efficiency which is always a point of interest in the office. So, the most efficient performance can be acquired by minimising effort and keeping a good posture. Let’s practice positive work posture. Let us take it easy to keep a good posture. This lets you perform better and keeps you fit even after hard work!
